The masque of the red death (Rune Callewaert, 2024, 12’)
When the eccentric owner of a bustling nightclub keeps an eye on his business, his eye catches a mysterious lady dressed in red whom he wants to make his own at all costs. The Masque of the Red Death is a stop-motion allegory about hunger, lust, decadence and decay.
Based on the short story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe (1809 – 1849) in which a bloody pestilence manages to invade a masked ball in a locked castle.
’T Voorjaer (Mon Dewulf, 2023, 19’)

Every inch covered (Matilda Vermeulen, 2024, 23’)
Every year, many foreign cyclists spend the winter in Belgium to compete in cyclo-cross, a sport whose beating heart is situated between the Koppenberg and the Meuse. But if the riders’ cradle does not have the same origin, they will always start from the back row.
Every inch is covered shows the daily reality of these riders through an observational portrait with an aural proximity.
